It’s Official: Online Movement Sends Pitbull to Freezing Alaska, Prankster Invited to Tag Along

Walmart held an internet promotion in collaboration with rapper Pitbull to send him to their most liked store on Facebook. When David Thorpe found the press release he thought it would be funny to start an online prank to send Pitbull to one of the coldest and most desolate Walmarts in the world. It worked!

Now Mr. International is on his way to Kodiak, Alaska to appear at the most remote Walmart in the world. Pitbull had a message to the fans and the prankstar that send him there.

The twist is that Pitbull challenged the prankster David Thorpe to come along with him expenses paid.

“Good news: I’ll definitely go to Alaska with @Pitbull,” Thorpe replied. “Bad news: I’ve been trying to grow a beard in preparation and it’s NOT going well.”
