Monday Night Football was the greatest tale of two halfs that you will ever see in professional football. In the first half the Denver Broncos fell way behind to the San Diego Chargers and it was due to fluke plays like this.
Broncos WR Erick Decker found himself completely alone when he caught a Payton Manning pass and there was nothing but daylight on the way to the endzone when this happened…
The Chargers led the Broncos 24-0 going into the half and it looked like it was going to be a complete blowout. Fast forward to the second half, nothing could go right for the Chargers where QB Phillip Rivers threw 4 interceptions and had a fumble returned for a TD. The Broncos offense also got is going and won the game by a final score of 35-24.
The Broncos are now tied for the most 1st half deficit points (24) to ever come back and win a game. They are also the only team in NFL history to come back from 24 points down to win by double digits.
