Somebody Already Scratched the Paint On Rutgers New Football Uniforms

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights football team will be hitting the field with year with probably the most talked about uniform change. The team wanted to take it’s mascot literally and created a uniform that would have them looking like knights in shining armor.

So now it’s out with the old…

and in with the new with this uniform that will “tell a story” on the field. The uniforms were made with Nike’s pro combat technology.

The team will have three uniforms including home (red), road (white), and a black version that will be worn during their “black-out” game.

The shiny helmet and shoulders of these new uniforms will come with scratches that will represent the team’s “battle scars”.

It this enough to dethrone the craziest uniform in college football, the Maryland Terps?
