Sony’s PS3 Gets Skinny, Again

Is that the PS3 slim? no, Sony today announced a even smaller slimmer slim PS3 at the Tokyo Game show.

The new model is 25% smaller and 20% lighter than the current PS3 and will come in two flavors a 250GB and a 500GB. It’ll also be available in two colours, white and black.

The 250GB model will be out on September 25, and will include Uncharted 3 and a $30 “digital content” voucher for DUST 514. It’ll cost $270.

Is this good news? or is Sony just trying to squeeze every little bit out of a six year old underpowered console. I say the later and as a dedicated PC gamer, I find it offensive that these gaming companies are holding back game technology by not putting out an update to their hardware. I mean were talking about MySpace old…
